Emraan Hashmi's son diagnosed with cancer



Actor Emraan Hashmi's four-year-old son Ayaan has been diagnosed with first stage cancer.

According to reports, the actor's son, admitted to the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai, on Monday, January 13, was diagnosed with a tumour in his kidney that was found to be malignant.

Emraan's filmmaker uncle Mahesh Bhatt rushed to his residence to be by his side in this difficult time.

At present, Ayan is reportedly being prepped for immediate surgery which may be followed by chemotherapy sessions to get rid of the malignant tumour.

Hashmi, who was scheduled to leave for South Africa for the shooting of his upcoming film Mr X on January 18, has canceled his travel plans to be by his ailing son's side.

The film's shoot will now take place in Mumbai so that the actor can be close to his family.

Virat Kohli moved in with Anushka Sharma???


Ever since Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli appeared in the shampoo commercial together, the buzz of their affair is taking rounds in the media. Adding much fuel to the rumour, it is reported that Virat Kohli has shifted to Anushka Sharma’s flat at Badrinath tower, Mumbai.

According to sources, Virat went straightway to Anushka’s home after returning from South Africa.

One of the watchmen preferring anonymity said, “Now-a-days Virat Kohli is staying with Anushka madam. For the last four-five days, he his coming here regularly. Even he stays sometimes if he gets late.”

A believable source also reported that Virat has been living in Anushka's residence ever since he came back from South Africa. He returns home by 8.30, which is quite evident of the fact that the relationship between this charming couple has reached another level.

The couple came close during a shampoo brand shoot and they hit it off instantly. It is also reported that when the men in blue returned from South Africa and landed in Mumbai airport, Virat was picked up by Anushka’s driver in her car. While other team members went to their home, Virat was waiting at the airport for 20 minutes for Anushka’s car.

While reports of the couple’s steamy romance is doing the rounds, Anushka has so far denied having any romantic relationship with Virat and said they are only good friends.

Legendary actress Suchitra Sen dies at 82


Legendary actress Suchitra Sen, who was also called Bengal's Greta Garbo, died in Kolkata at 82 today.

The actress had been in hospital since December 23 for treatment for a respiratory tract infection.

Ms Sen began her career with the Bengali film 'Shesh Kothay' in 1952 and is known for her role in Bimal Roy's 'Devdas' (1955) and 'Aandhi' (1975).

Ms Sen was also the first Indian actress to be awarded at an international film festival - Best Actress award for 'Saptapadi' at the Moscow film festival in 1963.

But after her 1978 movie, 'Pronoy Pasha' flopped, she disappeared from the public eye and even allegedly refused the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2005 preferring not to make a public appearance.
